At Alas del Sur VA, we aim to create a space for all aviation enthusiasts who want to share pleasant experiences and delve deeper into their training and growth within the world of aviation. This airline is made up of pilots, air traffic controllers, and aviation enthusiasts who love what we do.

While a cordial atmosphere among members is crucial, maintaining the highest degree of realism within operations is our priority. Therefore, certain rules and standards must be observed in order to maintain our objective at all times.

Welcome to this virtual airline. We hope you continue to grow with us.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Not be a member of two virtual airlines, whether or not registered with IVAO/VATSIM.

2. To apply for admission to Alas del Sur VA, prior simulator experience or a minimum number of flight hours is not required. However, it is important to note that the initial rank will be equivalent to experience at IVAO or other virtual airlines.

3. Pilots intending to join from another virtual airline may revalidate their previous hours without exceeding a total of 50 hours or 50% of their previous flight time, whichever is greater.

4. The admission and competition process is different from other virtual airlines, as at Alas del Sur VA we provide training from the ground up, with the goal of supporting you throughout your virtual aviation career.

AIRCRAFT USE

1. The use of the different equipment will depend on each pilot's specific rank, so they must refrain from using aircraft assigned to a fleet other than the one their assigned capacity allows.

2. The different fleets that comprise Alas del Sur are designed to provide the greatest possible realism within the aeronautical career. Therefore, assignments and capacities will be assigned according to flight hours for the airline, experience gained, and capacity tests for the different equipment.

3. To assign the capacity of each equipment, it will be essential to have the minimum number of hours required to fly a specific fleet, in addition to an exam that evaluates the minimum knowledge required for the safe operation of each aircraft.

OPERATIONS

1. All operations carried out within the airline must be reported both in the ACARS system provided by the airline and in the IVAO network.

2. The ACARS system operational at the time of drafting these regulations is FS Airlines, so it is essential to download and be familiar with its operation.

3. Pilots must report a minimum of 4 flight hours per month; otherwise, reactivation with the airline will be necessary, following evaluation by the Alas del Sur VA Staff.

4. All flights must be flown with realistic weather, time of day, and simulated speed settings in order to maintain the maximum capabilities of our pilots.

5. Before beginning any flight, proper flight planning, as well as weight, balance, and performance calculations for the equipment intended to fly a route, will be necessary.

In parallel with this document, there is a Standard Procedures Manual, which will be available for consultation at all times, allowing both members and staff to make rational, consensual decisions.

Have a good flight!
